Submission Guidelines

Poetry
1. We are accepting e-mail submission only. Send 3-6 original, unpublished poems in the body of your e-mail. Send us your strongest work. Include a brief, professional note including a 30 word or less bio and your contact information. Do not send greeting card verse, or preachy religious or political work. As much as we all love nature, please select your nature-themed pieces carefully as we are inundated with them.
2. Formatting your submission. Do not place your contact information between each poem only include it at the beginning of your e-mail. Although you may have a lot to say about yourself, keep your bio at the 30 word or less minimum. Bold all poem titles.
3. Line limits. Although we require no line limit, shorter poems are preferred. Long poems considered, but we accept very few.
4. Simultaneous submissions. We do not accept them.
5. Your submission will not be considered if you do not follow our guidelines. Do not expect a response from the editor if you have not read the guidelines.

Send review copies to our editorial address below.
Cover Art
Cover art submission should be sent as jpegs. Include your contact information at the beginning of your e-mail along with a brief bio 30 words or less. Do not send us additional samples of previously published work. Do not send simultaneaous art submissions. We do not consider reprints Write "Cover Art Submission" in the subject line.
Response time
3-6 months. Please be patient. If you have not heard from us within the time frame, e-mail the editor with "Submission Inquiry" in the subject line. Understand that we are a small volunteer-run press and we all have day jobs.
